Bigg Boss 17, January 1, 2024: On Monday’s episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande remembered her relationship and the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress also recalled seeing his picture after his death and how she was left cold. Read to know all the details!

Ankita Lokhande has spoken about her past relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Bigg Boss 17 several times. Monday’s (January 1, 2024) episode was no different when the actress recalled the phase of her life when she was left cold after learning of his sudden death. Speaking with Munawar and Aoora about social media hate, she spoke highly about Sushant’s family and the kind of person he was.

The conversation began when Aoora asked how Ankita dealt with social media hate and if she blocked people. Responding to the K-Pop singer, she said that she has blocked people in the past and still does if needed. Munawar said that he preferred to ignore them to which Aoora said, ‘wow’.

Ankita then told Munawar of the time after Sushant’s death. She said that there was a time when she had to block people because she was being bombarded with so much hate and she didn’t have the strength to just take them.

The actress added that that time was difficult for anyone who had ever been close to him even if they were not there in his life when it happened. Munawar asked her if Sushant’s manager’s demise happened before or after his demise. She told him that it was after and that the individual was not really his manager.

Munawar then said that people on the internet are detectives who would link anything up to suit their narrative. Ankita agreed with him and said that there was so much more to his story. Telling him about how bad the time was, the actress said that it didn’t matter if she was with him or not because she was completely shattered.

Ankita recalls relationship and break-up with Sushant

Munawar asked Ankita about her breakup with Sushant. She told him that they broke up on February 26, 2016 after seven years together. The actress said that they had started dating a month after working together on Pavitra Rishta.

Ankita said that when things ended between them, it was very painful for her because she felt left out. She added that it must have been painful for him as well but he was still moving forward in his life. ‘Even he didn’t know this would happen.’

Munawar then asked her about Sushant’s family to which she said that he was from Bihar but parts of his family lived in the USA, some in Chandigarh and Delhi. Ankita also talked about how intelligent he was and said that he was an IIT student who had an ‘All India 7’ rank.

Ankita remembers seeing Sushant’s picture after his death

Talking about Sushant’s demise, Ankita said that she was sent a very bad picture of him the night of his death. She added that she was left numb after seeing a person she knew everything about, someone who was so intelligent but was now just a body.

Ankita shared that if Sushant was alive today, he would have done exceptional things in his life. She added that something broke him so deeply and that shouldn’t have happened.
