Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare on Wednesday officially registered their marriage in the presence of their entire families. Bollywood superstar and father of the bride was visibly emotional while welcoming guests to the wedding venue.
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s daughter Nupur Shikhare reportedly tied the knot with Nupur Shikhare on Wednesday (January 3, 2024). It is being said that the much-in-love couple has officially registered their marriage.
According to an indiatoday.in report, the low-key ceremony was held at Taj Lands End, Bandra in Mumbai. The duo formalised their marriage in the presence of their entire family, including parents Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, as well as brother Junaid Khan. Kiran Rao and son Azad Rao Khan were also part of the occasion.
Aamir Khan welcomes guests with tight hugs
A video has emerged online showcasing Aamir Khan, the father of the bride, experiencing a range of emotions as he warmly greets guests with tight hugs. He looked absolutely dapper in a white sherwani with a pink turban. Nupur is said to have jogged approximately eight kilometers from his residence to the wedding venue.
Who is Nupur Shikhare?
On the professional front, Nupur is a fitness coach. As per Rumour Street of B-Town, he is the man responsible for the physical transformations of Aamir and actor Sushmita Sen. He is pretty active on Instagram where he enjoys almost 35 thousand followers.
Nupur met Ira during the COVID-19 lockdown amidst training sessions when she was living with her father. News of their love story circulated widely on social media as they began sharing their pictures online. In September 2023, Nupur proposed to Ira and, the following month, he formally proposed again during an official engagement party.
