The Chilean Air Force gave an account of Monday the vanishing of one of its load planes that was made a beeline for a base in Antarctica with 38 individuals ready.
The Hercules C130 air ship took off at 4:55 pm (1955 GMT) from the southern city of Punta Arenas and administrators lost contact with it soon after 6:00 p.m. "On board the C130 Hercules are 38 individuals, of which 17 are team individuals from the flying machine and 21 are travelers," the Air Force said in an announcement. A condition of alarm was announced after correspondence with plane was lost, and a hunt and salvage group was initiated. The flying machine was making a trip to perform calculated help errands for the support of Chilean offices at the Antarctic base.
